by Frank Eisenhuth Liebeswalzer, the successor of Mont Klamott, proved that Silly was no one-day shooting star. Whereas a lot of German Democratic Republic rock music nowadays sounds very stale, this album still radiates a certain freshness. Apart from Werner Karma's shrewd lyrics, the music does not cling to the usual rock standard -- Silly successfully enhanced their musical spectrum, the title track, "Liebeswalzer (F r H.F.)," being the musical highlight of the album. The 1993 remastered CD version also contains three songs ("Psycho," "Berliner Fr hling," and "Gro er Tr umer") with their original lyrics (titled "Tausend Augen," "Zwischen Unbefahr'nen Gleisen," and "Nur Ein Lied") which did not make it on the original 1985 release due to the censors.
