Fourtunate are a Sydney-based male singing group who burst into the Sydney music scene mid-2011 with enormous success, not only in Australia but world wide. Presently independent, Fourtunate have attracted millions of Youtube views and over 50,000 Facebook fans. They have performed at The Basement, One World & Collector's Hotel, Macquarie Hotel and Hotel Chambers, the Roxy, MVP, Club e11even, Easts at Broadbeach and Teez Lounge in Melbourne. They have supported international acts including Son's of Zion, Pleasure P, V-Tribe, Request Dance Crew, Omarion, & Clara C and have also featured in many festivals including Big Exo Day, Summer Jam, Polyfest, and Supanova, a total of 40+ performances in the past year. Fourtunate entered The X Factor (Australia) in 2012 and returned to their homes with a Top 7 place under their belt after making a lot of new friendships and professional relationships. On the 29th of April 2013, Fourtunate will be releasing their highly-anticipated debut single "Best Thing Ever". The song incorporates a mixture of pop and rock and showcases a bold new approach for the group, who are best known for their strong vocals and harmonies. "We're really trying to give our fans something different and exciting, something that they would never expect" says Joe, who is joined in the group by three brothers Izayah, Jaye, and Jakiel. 2013 will see Fourtunate go from strength to strength as they continue to mature artistically as a group and as individuals, while most of their focus will be directed toward their debut album which should impress as young and contemporary, yet soulful.
