As an invaluable witness of living and creating one of the greatest Russian writers of all time F.M.Dostoyevsky, this biographical story is telling Ana G. Dostoyevsky his wife. Anna, by then an old woman of 73 years, recalls the event when the I.S.Turgenev (writer) sent I.A.Goncharov (writer) in his name seeks return of Dostoyevsky's debt that was made during his stay in Baden Baden. Thus begins the clash between two of the greatest writer of the 19th century that will last over 15 years. The conflict in which "the debt from Baden Baden" was just false cause, while the real reason was the opposite view of the world of these two giant and which way in the future Russia needs to go. And resolution this conflict brought the time itself, just as F.M.Dostoyevsky said: "Time will put each of us in its place."
