简介

wall street broker robert cain, sr., is jailed for embezzling. his college graduate son bob then turns to crime to raise money for his father's release. as assistant to mobster mickey dwyer, then falls for dwyer's girl lucky. he winds up in the same prison as his father.

  • 剧本禁不起推敲,结局太过理想化
  • 就像把苦情女性电影的女主角换成一个男的,主角为救所爱之人“沦落风尘”却得不到对方理解,于是自甘堕落,结局来个最后一分钟救赎。进入act 2男主有些被边缘化,一个牵强收尾勉强把故事赶回了原本的轨道,即男孩变男人的成长故事。
  • 男主为了爹真是太拼了
  • 着眼点是父子关系,但是雕琢不够,鲍华的角色从一个不谙世事的青年变成了一个为救出父亲而误入黑帮的浪子,变化的过程太突兀,经不起推敲,结尾又如此大团圆,黑色味道消失殆尽。。。配角中的反派无法和鲍华形成对抗戏剧张力几乎没有,女主角的存在感又太差似乎她的存在就是为了几首歌舞。。。
