简介
because of objections from their relatives, a young couple from different social classes cannot overcome these obstacles to their marriage. the young woman is destined to marry a man who belongs to her social class. however, when her engagement is broken off because she is in love with another man, her father "pushes" her to her death. her beloved decides to follow suite, leaving a diary in which he narrates exactly what happened to the two lovers.
