The Meads of Asphodel was a project conceived by Metatron in 1998 who envisaged a unique myriad of colliding musical styles tethered to a Black Metal spine. The Middle Ages charts The Meads Of Asphodel from album number two, 2003’s Exhuming the Grave of Yeshua up until they signed to Candlelight Records in 2010. The first three tracks are from Exhuming the Grave of Yeshua. The next three from 2005’s Damascus Steel and tracks 7 to 9 are from In The Name Of God, Welcome To Planet Genocide. Which was released in 2006. Rounding off the release, the final trio are On The Surface, from the bands split with Old Corpse Road. And then we get to two tracks which were featured on Terrorizer Magazine Christmas cds. All Things Bright And Shit was from Christmas 2006 and Song Of A Hundred Roars from 2009 All songs have been remastered by J.D. Tait released 26 May 2014
