简介
Successfull Virginian horse-trainer and irresistible womanizer Virgil marries stud farm owner Frank Hadley`s naively devoted daughter. To avoid being discovered skimming to pay his gambling debts, Virgil ends up arranging for Frank`s death in a car `accident` and his daughter being jailed, then convinces her to sign a divorce to save the farm`s reputation and remarries an equally gullible prey. Alas, his first wife is inspired by a jail mate to become a race horse investment consultant, using a completely new identity, and obsessed with revenge, which gets priority over her re-found first love Sam.
