bob bondurant,bondurant raced cars in the 1960s with some success until a crash at watkins glen, in new york curtailed his career. he was one of a handful of americans to compete in the formula 1 grand prix series, and also raced at le mans. he was a member of carroll shelby's team, racing the famed cobra.
