Pretty interesting female fronted melodic power metal band from Italy. I didn't hear their debut, but I see that many VIP power metallers gave it nice ratings. Of course, I'm always very cautious about female singers, especially in (non-symphonic) power metal, but that doesn't mean I couldn't give this album a spin. First, I have to say Giorgia Gueglio on vocals is surprisingly good. She doesn't really have any raspy hard rocking voice like most of famous metal divas - she rather sounds to me like an ex-symphonic metal singer that learned how to make her voice rock. You can hear that almost everytime she has to hit high notes - she goes very high and always clean. On the other hand, I'm very glad she doesn't abuse this, and shows her voice has a lot of versatility. As for the music, overall it's listenable, but there are too many songs that sound like being written in a hurry, and thus sounding rather unfinished (=mediocre) (Wild Spell, Last Desire for example). The album starts freshly with first two songs, but then somehow becomes repetitive, at least until playful instrumental Space Trip. Not a bad release, and I'm sure fans of power metal with female vocals and some modern elements will like this, but I'm quite orthodox to get too impressed by albums like this.
