a high school teacher of chemistry suddenly has a breakdown. she hears voices and is receiving impulses from somewhere in space. the psychiatric clinic finds nothing irregular about her. but then a scientist decides to make biolelectric tests of his own. in the end he is convinced there are voices to be heard and he joins other people to listen to the strange impulses and eventually unravel their mystery.
