Born in Brazil, Sorocaba, S o Paulo, Queen Saraiva began her singing career in 1989 with the group Forbidden Fruit. With NITELITE Records Regina realized in 1996 the first album "Situations" with dance cover of "Killing Me Softly". The single was at the top of the charts for 8 weeks, the album was best-selling album in Italy, with a total presence of 19 weeks in the charts. In 1997 the second single "Day By Day" was over 3 months in the Italian charts and peaked at #11 on Billboard Magazine's Hot Dance Music/Club Play Chart in 1997. It was remixed by the prestigious international DJs like Mark Picchiotti (formerly remixer for artists such as Madonna and Lisa Stansfield) and Dancing Divaz. "Day By Day" soon became an anthem for homosexuals and this took her on tour in Europe with Jimmy Sommerville, Martha Walsh, Venga Boys, and 666.
