She came out with her huge hits Summer Is Crazy (released in -96) and Uh La La La (-97). Alexia's first solo record was single Me And You (in -95), but before her solo career she had been in few groups called I Ragazzi Di Migliarina, Brother Machine and well known Ice MC. In Alexia's opinion being in Ice MC was one of the most important things in her career. Alexia won the highly respected festival of Sanremo in 2003 Alexia has had success also in competitions during her solo career. In 2003 she won the Sanremo festival, which is may be the most biggest musical events in Italy every year. She took the victory with her touching hit song Per dire di no, which she made with little bit of help from Alberto Salerno. The Sanremo 2003 will be always remembered not only about Alexia's victory and the beautiful song, but also about Alexia's tears of joy when she entered as a winner to the stage of the theater Ariston. Alexia had been in Sanremo already before her victory, because in the year 2002 she came 2nd in the festival with her song Dimmi come. In the hearts of the people Alexia was the real winner also then. Alexia herself was more than happy about her success even she didn't win that time. Alexia's releases 1995-1997: Alexia's first solo release was single Me And You in '95. In '96 was released singles Number One and Summer Is Crazy. Finally in '97 was released Alexia's first solo album Fan Club. That year brought also single Uh La La La. 1998: Album The Party was released in summer '98. From this album was released singles Gimme Love, The Music I Like and Keep On Movin'. 1999: Alexia's third album was called Happy. First single released from this album was Goodbye. DWA said that all the songs in Happy would have been enough good to be released as a single. Second single taken from Happy was the title song Happy. 2000: In May was released single Ti Amo Ti Amo. Also finally after three albums Roberto Zanetti thought that it was time to release collection album The Hits. Alexia also made a duet song Non ti dimenticher with well known Italian singer Gianni Morandi. 2001: Money Honey was first single released from the album Mad For Music. Money Honey was also first single written totally - so both lyrics and melody - by Alexia herself. Mad For Music was first album, on which robyx wasn't the producer. This time Alexia write the songs herself with cooperation of Massimo Macolini, because she thought that it was time for changes. Second single from Mad For Music was Summerlovers. 2002: Album Alexia and single Dimmi come, brought the change to language with which Alexia is singing. Alexia started to mainly sing in Italian. Also the style changed to even more soul, blues and r'n'b. This style is absolutely great combination with her sweet strong voice. Second single taken from Alexia was Non lasciarmi mai. Alexia was also released as an international version, where the songs are as English versions, but there are also included some songs in Italian. Single Don't You Know was the English version of Dimmi come. 2003: Alexia's seventh album Il cuore a modo mio was released and it continued the soul, blues and r'n'b style. From the album as a single was released the Sanremo winner song Per dire di no and Egoista. 2004: Alexia worked with big name producers Louis Biancaniello and Sam Watters, who have made hitsfor example to Anastacia. The cooperation brought the first single Come tu mi vuoi (You Need Love) taken from the album Gli occhi grandi della luna. On the album is also song Se te ne vai cosi (I Want It To Be Me) by Diane Warren, who has made hits for example to Celine Dion and Aretha Franklin. As a radio single was released the song Una donna sola. 2005: Alexia took part to Sanremo and came second in the category of women with the song Da grande. After the Sanremo were released the single Da grande and the album Da grande, which contains the sanremo song Da grande, Alexia's biggest Italian hits with three English bonus songs and also totally new song Mai dire mai.
