Future Idiots is a four man constellation from the northern part of Swedens southmost province Scania. Musically, inspirations is drawn mainly from the american pop/punkrock scene and might be described as the energy of the early Green Day infused with the mature and alternative parts of Blink 182 after 20 cups of coffee. Future Idiots has self-‐published three recordings. They’ve also played on various music festivals and clubs all over Sweden. Future Idiots also contributed with music for various compilation CDs such as ‘Riot on Sunset IX’, ‘Burn all the small towns’ and the companion CD for ’Groove Magazine’ The band earned great success on YouTube publishing their own interpretations of famous songs and other Youtube celebrities which generated over 500.000 views and 700 subscribers! In the end of 2009 California based independent label Pacific Ridge Records singed a two album, U.S exclusive, deal with the band. Following the success on YouTube the record deal was later extended to include a third album with the bands, increasingly popular, cover songs.
