简介

十二岁尼克 (由巴里· 戈登扮演) 生活在他叔叔默里 (jason robards) 类似于 mr.micawber 的 dickensian 字符保持希望的东西不会露面的人。 是什么变成一名社工 (芭芭拉· 哈里斯) 谁爱上了美利和一点爱与尼克。 当儿童福利人试图强制美利成为一个常规的人 (如他们要求让他不要尼克价格),侄儿于是人至今生活在他叔叔的 iconoclastic 方法中,有 gloried,将试图扮演调解员。 但当他成功了,他惊动了叔叔的愿意为了保存关系社会洞穴的。
