Published in 1993,The album is pretty close to what the Darkwave eighties. Christian D rge ,famous gothic experimentalist decided to recruit "la creme de la creme" of the gothic movement in Germany to make this work.Bruno Kramm (Das Ich frontman), Tilo Wolf (Lacrimosa creator), Oswald Henke (Goethes Erben mastermind)An unholy trinity working for him to give form to his own ideas.The lyrics are fine, after all the whole concept of the album is from Christian D rge and it is a set for a modern opera with strong theatrical influencesThe mood of the album is quite theatrical as you may expect, and the monologues and poetic declamations appears here and there, as usual the vocalization and excellent use of the german language gains a win with Oswald Henke's professionalism. Certainly it is a dissapointment considering all the minds implied in here. This work could have been a musical diamond but unfortunately failed to become just a crystal with good angles.this album is out of print now and becomes a rarity http://www.myspace.com/christiandoerge
