Desire are a musical act from Montreal, Canada and Portland, Oregon. In June 2009, they released an album, II, on the Italians Do It Better label. The band is made up of vocalist Megan Louise, producer Johnny Jewel (also a member of the IDIB bands Chromatics and Glass Candy) and Nat Walker (also a member of Chromatics) on synthesizer and drums. Their lyrics are in French and English. The British music magazine FACT listed II as the 14th-best album of 2009. Recently their song "Under Your Spell" appeared in the soundtrack for the 2011 film Drive. In 2009 their song "Under Your Spell", and their cover of "Running Up That Hill" were featured in the 2010 s，s Max Mara fashion show. Kid Cudi recently sampled "Under Your Spell" for his song Teleport 2 Me, which is the first single off of his WZRD rock project.
