george moffly is probably best known as the man who was involved in a secret fbi sting in late 80's boston. an fbi agent who wanted to infiltrate boston mob teamsters went undercover as a movie studio exec. he was making a "fake" movie and hired moffly as a producer (who thought it was a real movie).
