简介
five friends in los angeles are snapped out of their boredom and lethargy by a letter from their friend nick, who disappeared months ago. in the letter, nick invites them out to his home, now at "mile marker 40." they find nick living in a trailer in the middle of the desert. over the course of several days, the trampoline, some lsd and a poker game leave some of the friends changed, and some more the same than ever.
