来自冰岛的独立音乐乐队。总共七位成员。风格以独立流行和民谣为主。Seabear最初只有Sindri M r Sigf sson一人，其他成员 rn ingi, gugg , inga, kjartan, d ri, s ley在2004年底加入，从而建立了这支乐队。Seabear的音乐清新、自然、质朴的民谣为主，偶尔点缀一些晶莹剔透的电音。他们的歌曲很舒缓犹如微风拂面，配器以吉他、口琴、小提琴、曼陀铃等原生乐器为主，还有可爱、纯净如孩童般的和声也是Seabeard的一大特色，如梦似幻极为美妙。 Seabear is 23-year old Sindri M r Sigf sson from Reykjavik, Iceland who writes beautiful songs using acoustic guitar and piano, gentle vocals, tinkly-winkly mallets, synth flourishes, and restrained percussion. Seabear started as a one man project and then turned into a band when Sindri was asked to open for The Books in Berlin. Never having performed these songs live he asked two of his friends, gugg and rn, to come with him and play. They had so much fun playing live and practising that they decided that they would join the band. The music is subdued and mellow folk pop, with a little piano, violin, acoustic guitar and atmospheric vocals, all carefully squeezed through a lo-fi filter. They will release their first full-length album, "The Ghost That Carried Us Away" august 17th. 2007 (gas &row), and sept.11th 2007 (usa) through Morr Music. Sindri also has an solo-artist EP under the name Seabear entitled "Singing Arc EP."
