by Greg Adams Campus Confidential is the third of the Four Preps' four "campus" albums, all of which were recorded live at various universities. This album is aimed more directly at the college crowd than their previous pair, with songs like "College Cannonball" (a rewrite of "Wabash Cannonball"), "Campus Rules," "Campus Serenade," and "She Was Only the Dean of Men's Daughter." After the success of "More Money for You and Me" and "The Big Draft," the group offers another medley called "Great Songs Medley" that was not issued as a single. The album is less substantial and satisfying than its predecessors, and record buyers must have felt a diminishing return on this particular album concept because Campus Confidential was a commercial flop.
