The 20th annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards ("KCA") were held on March 31, 2007, hosted by Justin Timberlake. It was the highest rated show ever in the history of the Kids Choice Awards. The show was held at Pauley Pavilion at the University of California, Los Angeles. Gwen Stefani (with Akon) and Maroon 5 performed during the show. Online voting began on March 5, 2007. A "Name That Nominee" special hosted by Lil' JJ aired on March 11 and a "Deep Inside the KCAs" special hosted by Emma Roberts aired on March 18. Almost all female awards were shown during commercials, while nearly all male awards were shown during the program. The TurboNick webcams on the orange carpet and inside the pavilion were delayed approximately 3 hours. The title belt that Justin Timberlake used while he was the Burping Champion was actually a replica of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with stickers covering the plates. Justin Timberlake won the Favorite Male Singer award while also being the show's host.
