Earlier this month, the Strokes’ Nick Valensi announced a new band called CRX. The band includes Ralph Alexander (The Dose), Richie James Follin (Guards), Darian Zahedi, and Jon Safley (The Reflections). Today, they’ve announced their debut album, New Skin (out October 28 via Columbia). It’s produced by Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal), and mixed by Andrew Scheps. See the tracklist and cover art below. Scroll down for CRX’s upcoming tour dates, which include three dates with Beck. Earlier this year, Homme produced Iggy Pop’s new album Post Pop Depression. Valensi played on the Strokes’ new EP Future Present Past.
