Electronic drums and keyboards and unique vocal arrangements contemporize the Latin subject matter. The focus of the music is quite definitely on the voices of Libera; the instrumentation is there for support and is at times quite inobtrusive. Two tracks in particular are based on previous works: Sanctus owes its inspiration to Canon by Pachelbel and bears a definite resemblance despite its quicker tempo. "Te Lucis" is based on Canon by Tallis. Nevertheless, the dance aspects of this music cannot be ignored. It adds a distinctive twist to the music that may tweak the sensibilities of classical purists, but fans of Enya and similar performers will be delighted. (by Rovi)
